Aquafit at InterContinental Dubai Marina

Forget cycling inside a gym! Give your workout a cool makeover and try Aquafit, a low-impact, high-intensity water workout that will keep you cool all year round. The 45-minute aqua cycling is a full-body workout that increases muscle resistance, improves cardiovascular endurance and burns fat using bikes that are parked underwater. Isn’t that cool? The workout targets specific areas of your legs and glutes while incorporating different swim strokes to tone the arms. And there’s also an abs session to ensure your whole body reaps the benefits of the underwater workout.  The classes come in three categories depending on the difficulty level- Aquafit Signature, Aquafit Tone and Aquafit Burn. Pick the one that suits you best and cycle your way to a healthy body.

In a nutshell: A fun way to stay cool and fit around the year.

Trampolining Bounce Fit, Al Quoz

Bounce your way to fitness at this super fun fitness class in Dubai! Australian-based Bounce opened its first international trampoline park in Al Quoz and we’re going bonkers. Trampolining has tons of health benefits – it helps with coordination and agility, works as a great detox, gets your heart pumping and, above all, the thrill of jumping in the air takes you back to your childhood. What’s not to love? Bounce is fitted with 52 trampolines for freestyle, a dodgeball court, an airbag-fitted section and a performance area with five Olympic-grade trampolines and a wall. There are also 45-degree trampolines against walls to jump off. Good enough to manage a decent workout without sulking, right? What’s not to love?

In a nutshell: A playful way to burn those calories.

Swing yoga at Pole Fit, Dubai

Strengthen, stretch and boost your flexibility as you swing in a hammock. Open to all ages, the aerial hammocks are perfect if you’re looking to tone up, and improve flexibility, poise and posture. A single piece of fabric is folded to make a loop which will let you strike poses in the air. As you get more familiar, you can even try inversions and backbends. Isn’t this a cool workout to show off on your Insta?

In a nutshell: Throw your weight on silk hammocks and ace that handstand like a boss

Play a game of golf at TopGolf

If you’re looking to shed a few pounds the elite way, this one’s for you. TopGolf is one of Dubai’s premier entertainment destinations where you can eat, play and have one heck of a good time. The three-level venue has 96 hitting bays and three restaurants so you can fuel up after playing a round of golf. Prices start from INR 2,887 for a one-hour session. SUP Pilates by SeaYou at Sofitel

SUP and Pilates are two of the most invigorating activities out there today. Well, what exactly is SUP you ask? SUP stands for Stand Up Paddle boarding and it is a cross between surfing and kayaking. This cool workout at SeaYou combines Pilates and SUP. All you need are comfortable workout clothes, a paddle and a paddleboard. Once you get the balance right, you’ll be confident enough to try more adventurous postures. Enter Pilates! You’ll be doing all your Pilates on the paddleboard, so rest assured that your core muscles will get the biggest workout. This is exactly the aim of the program.

In a nutshell: An awesome water adventure that also doubles up as a great workout.

Kangoo Jumps at Yalla Jump

Wondering what this means? Are you going to be jumping around like Kangaroos? Well, a little bit maybe. Just that you’ll be jumping around in boots attached to mini trampolines. Don’t worry, you’ll be super safe and have a lot of fun too. In fact, you’ll spend a good portion of the class laughing, but once you get a hang of it, you’ll be running, dancing or jumping around with your kangoo boots strapped on. The workout will help you burn 1,000 calories in an hour.

In a nutshell: Jump around, laugh your heart out and burn 1,000-1,500 calories!
